It’s that time of year again. The time where we make our New Year’s Resolutions and aim to change old habits as we form new ones.
Unfortunately, studies show that many of us will lose momentum with our resolutions by the second week of January. And come February? Forgetaboutit.
So, here are New Year’s Resolution suggestions based on your favorite Playa Bowl base.
Acai
Acai is the OG of the Playa Bowl bases, with its energy-boosting, cell-healing, immune-stimulating properties. If this is your go-to order then you’ll likely do well with the OG of New Year’s Resolutions: working out more. Whether that means being active every day or reaching the next level in your fitness goals, 2022 is the year to become the fitter you!
Pitaya
The Pitaya really captures our attention with its vivid color. Not only that, but it’s packed with phytonutrients, stimulates the metabolism, aids in digestion, and detoxifies the body. Love the pitaya? Then you’re ready for a bold New Year’s Resolution: accomplish something new! Work towards a new degree, online course, a promotion at work, take a new language. You’re ready for a change.
Coconut
We love our coconut bowls. They’re highly nutritious and packed with delicious antioxidants. If you’re coco for coconut, and the adventure within it, your New Year’s Resolution should be to save for that trip you always wanted to take. Every day set aside a dollar or two and watch your trip literally manifest itself in 2022.
Banana
Bananas are loaded with calcium, magnesium, iron, folate, niacin, riboflavin, and B6. Plus, they’re the fruit nearly everyone can agree on. So, in 2022, make your New Year’s Resolution all about reconnecting with friends and family (and we don’t just mean on social media). Plan an outing, make a call. It’s time to catch up!
Oatmeal
Oatmeal has some crazy health benefits (check them out in our blog), and being good for the skin is one of them. Load up your New Year’s Resolutions with self-care, and a new skincare routine. By this time next year people will be begging to know your secrets!
Chia Pudding
Chia pudding has Omega-3 fatty acids, proven to protect against heart disease and stroke. This year, protect your mental health and make your New Year’s Resolution a social media detox or cleanse. We’re not saying go cold turkey, but you can try eliminating use at certain hours or even a certain amount of hours each day. Small steps can lead to big benefits!
Green
Green kale bowls are full of protein, fiber, iron and vitamins A, C and K. There’s so much to be thankful for with this bowl! That’s why when we think of green we think of gratitude. In 2022, make your New Year’s Resolution to start a gratitude journal. Keep it on your phone or your nightstand, but commit to feeling grateful once a day and watch your year unfold months of positivity.
