BELMAR, N.J. – Playa Bowls® is making chocolate waves with the launch of Cacao Chocolate Waves, a four item seasonal menu built around its all-new Playa Cacao Base. Rich, smooth, decadent and seriously chocolatey, the new base gives chocolate lovers plenty of reasons to treat themselves with two new bowls and two new smoothies. Made with cacao and naturally sweetened with dates, the new Playa Cacao Base contains zero added sugar.

Beyond its rich chocolate flavor, cacao is a superfood that naturally contains antioxidants, flavonoids and essential minerals, with benefits that support heart health, brain function, metabolic balance and mood.

• Chocolate Coconut Joy Bowl: Half Playa Cacao Base and half Playa Coconut® Base topped with blueberry flax granola, potassium-rich banana, walnuts and a Nutella® drizzle, pairing rich chocolate and creamy coconut with nutty crunch and a chocolate-hazelnut finish, plus electrolytes and healthy fats from coconut.
• Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bowl: Half Playa Cacao Base and half Stupid Cupid Base, a pink blend of strawberry, banana and organic coconut milk, topped with blueberry flax granola, fresh strawberries, banana and a dollop of coco whip, creating a striking chocolate-and-pink contrast and a romantic pairing of rich chocolate and fresh strawberry inspired by the decadence of a classic chocolate-covered strawberry.
• Triple Dark Wave Smoothie: Playa Cacao Base, Playa Coconut® Base, banana, chocolate protein, Nutella® and organic coconut milk blended to a velvety finish with an additional Nutella® swirl, bringing together deep cacao, chocolate-hazelnut flavor and a touch of coconut, plus electrolytes and healthy fats from coconut.
• PB Chocolate Wave Smoothie: Playa Cacao Base, banana, chocolate protein, peanut butter and organic coconut milk blended and finished with peanut butter and coco whip swirls, creating a marbled finish over the classic pairing of chocolate and peanut butter, with potassium and natural carbs from banana for sustained energy.
